At the Grand Center for Arts & Culture, we’re proud to showcase a vibrant community of local artists—and this weekend, our featured event is Laurie Fox’s “Pop-Up” shop on the second floor. Laurie is a self-taught watercolor artist whose expressive brushwork and rich color palettes bring landscapes and florals to life. Her latest work explores the beauty of nature in a whole new way, using real botanicals to extract pigment and print directly with plants. Every piece she sells—whether an original painting or a heartfelt card—supports NUMAS House and Ivy House, making her art a gift in more ways than one.

Downstairs, our gift shop will be open with its signature mix of handcrafted treasures, including original prints, handmade books, ceramics, earrings, and more. You’ll find work from beloved local talents like Allie Lee, Danielle Deopere, Malia Wiley, Jeff Stocco, Curt Schutz, Alyssa Johnson, Bob Arnoldy, and many others. Come celebrate creativity, community, and the joy of handmade art!
